Spring is awkward. It’s too warm to wear a big coat. But it’s too chilly without one. That’s why, like Keanu Reeves, every single guy needs to get themselves a solid fleece jacket that’ll help you stay cool and look hot, all at once.

At the end of last week, Hollywood’s nicest dude was spotted in Los Angeles filming his latest project, titled Outcome. His hair was like a mix between  John Wick’s and Neo’s, and while his beard looked a little scruffy, it was also well-sculpted and trimmed.

Just right! He wore a white t-shirt, and layered this with fleece jacket. But this wasn’t just any ol’ fleece jacket. This one was the InterActive Jacket by British outdoor clothing company Berghaus – and it’s the gorpy stuff that predates the whole gorpcore thing, and thus, a grail proper.

Infused with Polartec Thermal Pro (that’s basically a fancy way of saying that this piece is cosy like a traditional fleece, but also extra soft and extra durable so it’ll last longer), it’s got three pockets on the side, and one on the chest.

And if you like sustainable clothes, you’ll also be glad to hear that it’s made from more than 50 per cent recycled materials, which is almost as nice as Keanu Reeves.

Over the past couple of seasons, fashion houses from Dior to Louis Vuitton have all dropped their own versions. And the InterActive Jacket? That’s also become something of a menswear hottie, because it’s been designed to attach onto other waterproof outers from the InterActive range, making it a firm fave.

It’s mid-level menswear that’s made for the Highlands and yet still making waves in the eternal gorpverse.

So, if you don’t have one in your wardrobe already, listen to Keanu Reeves and grab one ASAP.
