“Emily, hi! I’m so grateful to you and Bonny for how much you’ve cared about my music, and all the times you’ve referred to it as ‘iconic’ and ‘immaculate,’” Swift’s letter to Hunt read. “You’ve made me laugh and made me feel understood many times with your reviews. I love your wild joy and enthusiasm. That’s why I do this!”

“Have a blast tonight. Sending my love. Taylor. xoxo,” the sweet note concluded.

The megafans of the pop diva later shared their experience on Instagram.

“Today was a fairytale,” the in-depth post began. “We were lucky enough to be invited back to the ‘Eras’ tour for Melbourne night 3 to watch the show from the VIP section.”

“Scott (Taylor’s dad) came to the tent, he gave us handwritten letters from Taylor and then had a chat with us… He was the sweetest, kindest, most down-to-earth man,” the pair gushed. “He told us he loves our videos and was so happy we could be there. Oh, and of course gave us guitar picks.”

The pair then addressed both Swift, 34, and her father.

“THE MOST DESERVING,” commented one fan. “I remember when Taylor liked the video I posted of you guys on TikTok saying I was waiting for your reaction to midnights that she must watch your videos. I love that it’s now confirmed. Adore you girls.”

“No one deserves it more,” agreed a second fan. “As a long-term watcher & Patreon member since the start, I am so glad that Taylor recognized the safe space you’ve created for swifties who didn’t have one. You’ve got me through my toughest days and this makes me the happiest, beyond happy for you both.”

“I’ve been watching you guys for 3 years now and when I saw this I lost it !!! you two deserve this so so so much,” a third fan stated.

“Ninety-six thousand people the first night, 96,000 people the second night, 96,000 people tonight. All of that, those are all the biggest shows I’ve ever played on a tour, and you did it three times,” Swift told the screaming crowd at Melbourne Cricket Ground in a clip posted to X.

“The math is that it’s 288,000 people in three nights,” she continued. “Melbourne, you are the love of my life. I cannot believe you, what have you done?”

“It’s just incredibly nice to do for someone. Make them feel welcome like that,” Swift said.

“Another thing that makes me feel very lucky, honestly, [is] standing here knowing I have the most incredible opening act on this tour,” the “Bad Blood” songstress continued, referring to her bestie Sabrina Carpenter, who has opened for Swift several times.

The singer’s comment comes mere days after a fan posted a clip of Swift on the social media site telling Friday night’s attendees that she was “starstruck” by the achievement, and that the performance was “the biggest show that we have done on this tour or any tour I have ever done.”

“That’s the version you get of me tonight, the version that’s completely starstruck by the fact that so many of you wanted to hang out with us on a Friday night in Melbourne,” the 14-time Grammy winner said.
