Bravo veteran and TV host Andy Cohen has shot down any Real Housewives’ hopes of dating Liam Neeson.
On Sunday’s episode of the network’s talk show, Watch What Happens Live, the presenter suggested that Neeson is too much of an “introvert” to dip into the reality TV dating pool. Cohen made the revelation when discussing dating hopes with former Real Housewives of New York City Luann de Lesseps and Sonja Morgan.
While appearing on the chat show to promote their new Simple Life-style reality show, Welcome to Crappie Lake on Peacock (NBC and Bravo’s online streaming platform), the ladies were asked if they “have a squeeze”. After admitting to having a “couple of guys that I’m dating”, de Lesseps began discussing potential suitors.
When Cohen listed some cast members of Below Deck that he thought might suit her, she said she prefers someone “more age appropriate”. “What about Liam Neeson? Is he single?” she asked the host.
“It’s a bad idea,” Cohen answered, then added: “It’s not a personality match.”

“Really? Oh, you know him well,” de Lesseps acknowledged.
“I know him well,” he reiterated. “It’s not [a match].”
As the pair were chatting, Morgan pointed at the host and chimed in: “I wanted Liam – I texted you for Liam! You said no. I had dinner with him, he’s great.”
Cohen then added that Neeson is “such an introvert”. While de Lesseps resigned with “I trust you,” Morgan protested: “I’m an introvert! I’m a recluse!”
Neeson has appeared on Cohen’s chat show numerous times over the years. The Irish actor has kept a low profile when it comes to dating ever since the death of his wife, English actress Natasha Richardson, in 2009.
