Following the release of Eminem’s “Zeus” from the deluxe edition of Music to Be Murdered By – Side B, where Eminem throws jabs at Snoop Dogg, many fans had different theories about why Eminem fired shots at Snoop Dogg.
In the song, Eminem raps: “As far as squashin’ beef, I’m used to people knockin’ me. But, just not in my camp. I’m diplomatic, ’cause I’m tryna be.
Last thing I need is Snoop doggin’ me. Man, dog, you was like a damn God to me. Man, not really. I had dog backwards.”
Snoop Dogg has always been some kind of salty towards Eminem in his interviews. Most recently, Snoop leave out Eminem from his Top 10, said he can live without Eminem’s music and Slim Shady is only considered Top 10 in the game because of Dr. Dre.
Recently, a decades old interview has surfaced online, where Snoop Dogg is dissing Eminem and his one of the greatest hits, “Stan,” featuring Dido.
At one point, Snoop said, “I don’t listen to Eminem records. No disrespect to him. I’m gangsta.” and then mocks ‘Stan’ lyrics: “I don’t hear that bulls**t, I’m a gangsta”
