The teenager was given a tough choice, countryman or teammate?

Real Madrid star Endrick was recently asked to choose between Jude Bellingham or Neymar.

The talented teenager however took no time in deciding which player he prefers overall.

Endrick, 18, joined the La Liga giants earlier this summer and made his debut against AC Milan in the US just last week.

With a Brazilian reporter quizzing him on two players at a time, Endrick was given the task of picking between the two.

When it came to either Bellingham or Neymar, he opted for his Real Madrid team-mate over his countryman.

Bellingham was eventually toppled by Ronaldinho, before he arrived at a crossroads soon after.

“Cristiano or Lionel Messi,” asked the reporter.

“Cristiano,” joked the Brazil international.

It sounds like Endrick is a huge fan of the Portugal superstar, given he also named him in another interview recently.

“Cristiano Ronaldo is my biggest idol,” he told media earlier this year.

“He’s more than an athlete, he’s an example to follow for everyone.

“No matter the moment, he wants titles, records, he is very humble.

“If you want to go far, follow him. I’ve always wanted to play at Real Madrid.”

Endrick joined Real Madrid this summer from Palmeiras in a deal worth around £50 million, 18 months after they announced the signing.

With Kylian Mbappe also joining, Carlo Ancelotti will have a plethora of attacking options at his disposal this season.

“He has shown great quality and talent but he is like Arda [Guler] last year – you don’t have to put pressure on the youngsters,” Ancelotti told reports after the teenager made his maiden bow.

“He has talent but also pressure, he is a player loved all over the world, especially in Brazil, but we have to be patient.

“He’s very fast, very dangerous in tight spaces, has the ability to turn with speed in little space, very agile in getting himself free, and all these qualities he has means he’s a great talent.

“It’s rare to see a player with these types of characteristics.”
