“Okay lang naman mag-guest siya sa Showtime, or mag-prod siya,” she replied.

Kim also noted that she and Xian were civil with each other at the moment and that there were no hard feelings between them. “‘Di naman kami mag-kaaway,” she candidly answered.

Kim Chiu on Being Single Again After 12 Years

In the same interview, Kim also noted that although she is happy and thriving in her ~*single girl era*~, she is also open to finding love again should it come knocking on her door.

“Open naman ‘yung heart ko. For now, I enjoy muna my time being [by] myself,” she responded.

She also added that she is currently busy with work and “bonus na siguro kung may kumakalabit diyan na love.”

In her interview with Dr. Vicki Belo, Kim also revealed that being single again feels lonely, but she doesn’t mind as it is a “part of life.”

“It’s a little empty pero okay naman. It’s ano naman… part of life and part of growing up.”

Seeing that she and Xian had been together for almost 12 years, Dr. Vicki asked her if she ever thought about where their relationship might be headed.

Hindi talaga. Hindi ako nagtanong [kay Xian]. Pero iniisip ko. And it’s also one of the reasons of the many reasons [of the breakup]. Siguro ‘di naman siya big factor, pero siyempre, as we grow old, siyempre iisipin mo na rin ‘yun,” she stated.

Kim’s statement coincidentally comes after Xian’s Fast Talk with Boy Abunda interview, where the actor got candid about love and said that although love is a magical feeling, it can also be very painful.

“Love is very painful, and it’s also a very magical feeling,” he noted, before adding, “I think that’s what love does to you but at a certain point, love disappears.”

He also mentioned that when the *initial* spark of love fades, that’s when love becomes a choice for people in a relationship. “And I think, doon na magiging choice ang pagmamahalan. You choose to stay together and you choose to fight for each other, no matter what it is,” he said.
