Neymar once sent a direct message to Luana Alonso.

Neymar once slid into the DMs of the swimmer who was removed from the athlete village at the 2024 Olympics.

Luana Alonso was banished from the athlete village at the Paris Games over her ‘inappropriate conduct’.

It was understood that the swimmer had left France after being suspended from the Olympic village for her unprofessional behaviour.

Her departure came shortly after she was unable to qualify for the women’s 100m butterfly semi-final last week.

It’s fair to say the glamorous Paraguayan has made a splash at this summer’s Olympics even though she’s failed to win a medal.

But before she made a name for herself, Neymar once slid into her DMs, which was left unread.

“He sent me a DM. That’s all I can say,” she revealed.

Alonso was pressed by the presenters to reveal what the Brazilian star said to which she replied: “I cannot tell this here.”

The 20-year-old added that she had not read the message, with it being “left on the request form.”

Alonso has declared herself a Neymar fan for years and once shared that the player had reacted to one of her photos on social media.

According to the report, the exchange took place a ‘couple of years ago’. So, Neymar would’ve still been plying his trade at Paris Saint-Germain at the time of the message.

He spent six seasons at PSG before securing a big-money move to Al Hilal in the summer of 2023.

Alonso, meanwhile, hit out at ‘false information’ regarding her Olympics exit.

“I just wanted to clarify that I was never kicked out or expelled from anywhere, please stop spreading false information,” she said on social media.

“I don’t want to make any statement but I’m not going to let lies affect me either.”
