Bill Belichick is close to signing a deal.
Bill Belichick and Peyton Manning were worthy rivals on the football field for years. Now, they are coming together as one.
In the wake of former New England Patriots head coach Bill Belichick failing to land a head coaching job this offseason, he is reportedly set to try his hand at being an analyst as ESPN’s Don Van Natta Jr., Seth Wickersham, and Jeremy Fowler are all reporting that Belichick is expected to “sign a deal to do analysis” with Omaha Productions in the coming weeks.
Omaha Productions produces ManningCast alongside a litany of original content during Monday Night Football. Peyton Manning’s company recently got an extension from ESPN.

The report goes on to state that Belichick is joining Omaha Productions as a way to remain involved with the NFL and bide time, as he was unable to find a job during the most recent coaching cycle, but he has plans to find something next offseason.
According to the ESPN report, Belichick is believed to be holding the line until next January for openings on teams he has “told confidants he would be interested in coaching,” which are the Philadelphia Eagles, New York Giants, and Dallas Cowboys.
It remains unclear if Bill Belichick would be involved with the ManningCast, but given his credibility, you would expect him to appear on at least one show.

As the Patriots’ head coach for 24 seasons, Belichick led the team to nine Super Bowl appearances, six of which were victories.
Despite all of his achievements, Belichick and the Patriots called it quits after the 2023 season, with New England finishing with its worst-ever record of 4-13.
He may never find a job this offseason, but Belichick plans to coach somewhere in 2025.
