Rashee Rice is likely in a ton of trouble.

On Wednesday, Kansas City Chiefs wide receiver Rashee Rice apologized for his part in the six-car crash that hospitalized two people on Saturday. Rice said on Wednesday that he takes “full responsibility” for his part in a weekend incident involving speeding sports cars that caused a chain-reaction crash on a Dallas highway.

Six vehicles were involved in the crash along the northbound lanes of the Central Expressway in Dallas that left four people with minor injuries Saturday.

The only thing we did not know was his actual involvement.

On Thursday, Rice’s lawyer, Dallas state senator Royce West, admitted that the Chiefs wide receiver was driving the Lamborghini at the time of the car accident in Dallas this past weekend.

“Thank you for asking that. During the (Dallas Police Department) interview, Mr. Rice acknowledged that he was driving the Lamborghini,” West said, via KMBC.

Rice was leasing the Lamborghini SUV that police said was speeding along with a Corvette on North Central Expressway. Under the terms of the lease, Rice would have been the only person allowed to drive the vehicle.

The occupants of the Lamborghini and Corvette left the scene without providing information or determining whether anyone needed medical attention.

Rashee Rice was selected by the Chiefs in the second round of last year’s draft, and he quickly became one of the only dependable options in their passing game.

Rice finished second on the team to Travis Kelce with 73 receptions for 938 yards while leading the Chiefs with seven touchdown receptions.

He was arguably even better when the lights got brighter in the postseason as he pulled in 26 catches for 262 yards and a touchdown, including six catches for 39 yards against San Francisco in the Super Bowl.
