It has not been long since the news broke that one of Michael Porter Jr.’s brothers was arrested and the other was banned from the NBA. Unfortunately, another painful news for the Porter family emerged as the third Michael Porter Jr. brother was arrested. Sergeant Kyle Green of the Missouri State confirmed to ESPN that Jevon Porter, a former Pepperdine basketball star and the younger brother of Denver Nuggets player Michael Porter Jr., was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence on Friday night in Missouri.

“We are aware of recent reports in the media and are gathering information about the matter.” In response to Porter’s arrest, Loyola Marymount released a statement.

Jevon Porter is a sophomore basketball player at Loyola Marymount University who hails from Columbia, Missouri. As per his player profile, he started all 31 games for Pepperdine University as a freshman and was selected for the All-West Coast Conference Freshmen Team. Porter completed his high school studies at Father Tolton Catholic High School, where he was ranked fifth among the state’s players. This is the latest instance in a long line of alleged violations and arrests involving the Porter family.

The Porter family is facing a serious crisis as Jevon Porter, the third brother, has been arrested

A few weeks ago, the Denver District Court sentenced Coban Porter, Michael Porter’s younger brother, to six years in the Colorado Department of Corrections for a terrible crash near the University of Denver in January 2023.

During his hearing, Coban Porter testified that he was drunk when he blew a red light at the intersection of East Buchtel Boulevard and South University Boulevard, resulting in the accident that killed Katharina Rothman’s car and seriously injured one of her passengers.

In addition, Jontay Porter, another sibling, was banned from the NBA for life the same week for violating laws by giving sports bettors confidential information, limiting his attendance at games for betting purposes, and placing NBA wagers.
