The NFL has been expanding its fan base across the world. It’s hit places like Germany, London, and Mexico, and now more international games are slated to be played as the Green Bay Packers will take on the Philadelphia Eagles in Brazil.

Corinthians Arena in Sao Paulo, Brazil will be the home of the recently announced NFL match-up as we’ll see a star QB battle. The Septemeber 6th, 2024 game in Brazil will see Eagles 2022 MVP runner-up, Jalen Hurts, take on young Packers’ signal caller, Jordan Love

The NFL posted to their X account that this will be the first-ever NFL game played in Brazil as they try to hit every continent in the world. Not only that but the showdown will be played on Friday Night Football, the first opening game to do so in over 50 years.

It is going to be interesting to see the turnout as no one knows how large the Brazillian NFL fandom may be. The NFL is definitely going out on a limb here.

Eagles vs. Packers In Brazil Could Change The NFL Landscape

The NFL clearly has a vision for the game as the Eagles lost longtime and future Hall of Fame offensive lineman Jason Kelce to retirement and suffered through some late season adversity before making the 2023 playoffs.

The Packers have recently revamped their offense after trading franchise QB, Aaron Rodgers, to the New York Jets. Fans expected the Pack to take a step back, but Jordan Love unexpectedly lead the team to a much anticipated playoff victory against the Cowboys in 2023.

With two teams slated to face off in Brazil, the NFL may have just changed their landscape for years to come as they continue their motive for world domination this upcoming season, which will also see games played in Germany and the UK.
