The Phoenix Suns star Devin Booker recently delivered a dominant performance against the New Orleans Pelicans. He has been on fire in the latter half of the season carrying the Suns alongside his teammate Kevin Durant.
Booker’s records for the Suns have been commendable enough to cement him as one of the greatest to ever play for the franchise. His consistency this season and last season was only matched by Tom Chambers in 1990.
Devin Booker is consistent with 40+ point games for the Suns
The Phoenix Suns star Devin Booker has recently matched his previous season feat of scoring more than 40 points in seven games for the Phoenix Suns. This a record that has only been matched twice in the history of the Suns. Booker repeated this feat last season and club icon Tom Chambers matched it before him in 1990.
Booker equaled Wilt Chamberlain’s record against the Pelicans
Devin Booker delivered a great performance against the New Orleans Pelicans and dropped 52 points in that game. This was the third time Booker had scored 50+ points against the Pelicans. He matched NBA legend, Wilt Chamberlain in the record of scoring more than 50 points against a single opponent in a season.
Despite their best efforts, the Pelicans have failed to stop him in their last three matchups. The fans are left wondering if there is some secret behind Booker’s sudden performance boost against the Pels. However, there hasn’t been a rumor or a statement suggesting any reason for the Suns star’s insane performance.
