On Friday, the Dallas Mavericks showed the door to the Clippers after winning game 6 of the series. In the 114-101 win, it seemed like the Mavs had two Kyrie Irving. One played in the first half, and the other one blew the roof of the American Airlines Center with his dynamic performance.

After the game, Mavs HC Jason Kidd sounded his appreciation for the guard’s 13-0 record in playoff elimination games. Kidd said, “His basketball IQ is like no other, it’s extremely high. His patience. The confidence that his teammates and coaches have in him that he’s going to do the right thing – you can see that. I think that’s why his record is perfect.”

Irving scored only 2 points in the first half of the game and then added 28 in a blistering second quarter. Pointing out Kyrie’s change in gear, Kidd said, “He got going, helped us with that 8-0 run to start the third. I thought from that point on, we just went.”

His HC was not the only one who was impressed with the 8-time NBA All-Star. A familiar face kept his eyes on the proceedings from home and expressed his enthusiasm after seeing the unreal performance.

Kyrie Irving Leaves LeBron James Awestruck

Kyrie Irving came out with all guns blazing in the second half and took the game away from the Clippers. Seeing the madness orchestrated by the 32-year-old, his former Cavs teammate, LeBron James, couldn’t contain himself to join in the buzz around the game.

LBJ took to X (formerly known as Twitter) and posted, “KY STOP IT!!!!! OMG” followed by some hyped emojis. The post was done just after Kyrie Irving put on his dance shoes and bamboozled PJ Tucker in the fourth quarter to amaze everyone with his 4-point play. LeBron has the experience of seeing Kyrie up close in this sort of deadly motion, but the moment produced by the Mavs guard was one of the highlights of the series.

With the Clippers out of the way, Kyrie and his Mavs will start preparing for their round 2 series against the OKC Thunder, which will start on Tuesday.
