ESPN and SEC Network sports reporter Laura Rutledge is having quite the year for herself.

A few weeks ago, Rutledge was able to land the job of her life when she was able to travel to Augusta and cover the Masters for the Worldwide Leader. She posted about it online and said that it was a bucket list moment for her career.

“So, growing up in Georgia, the Masters has always been something that my family has watched, and we’ve loved,” Rutledge said. “This is truly a bucket list event for me. I’ve been so fortunate; I can’t even believe all the amazing events that I’ve been able to be a small part of. But to be here and to get to experience it is truly once in a lifetime and a bucket list item that I never thought I’d actually complete.”

This week, Laura Rutledge is shutting down social media after she took to her Instagram account and posted herself rocking a throwback outfit.

Rutledge posted two pictures of herself rocking a black sweater vest over a white button-up shirt. She also wore a skirt and some round-toe, square heels, patent leather loafers with white socks.

Her first photo showed her sitting on a red chair with her legs crossed and posing, while the second photo gave us a complete look at her outfit while standing.

Laura Rutledge is a former beauty pageant contestant turned sports reporter who currently hosts NFL Live on ESPN after a spell at Fox Sports in the past. She married her husband Josh, a professional baseball player, in 2013.

Laura Rutledge scared everybody last December when she spoke on the health of her then 7-month-old son after revealing that he suffered a health scare over the holiday season and had to receive treatment at the hospital.

While she did not go into details about what Jack’s condition was, Rutledge shared in a post on Christmas that the little boy had been “airlifted in a helicopter from Grand Strand Medical Center in Myrtle Beach, SC to MUSC Shawn Jenkins Children’s Hospital in Charleston” for treatment.

“Both hospitals were so kind and acted fast. Lauren, Eric, and Justin with Airlink Novant Health treated our little guy like he was their own and offered reassurance at the scariest moments,” she wrote, adding that she and her husband Josh Rutledge were able to take home their baby after a “hospital visit” that day.

In June 2023, the NFL Live star told PEOPLE that she and her former MLB player husband had welcomed their second child after 3-year-old daughter Reese.
