In a recent interview following the Milwaukee Bucks’ Game 2 loss to the Pacers, Bobby Portis, the Milwaukee Bucks’ forward, was questioned about the physicality, trash-talking, and technical fouls that occurred during the game. The interviewer asked whether Portis believed that the Pacers used these tactics to motivate themselves while playing on the road.

“I mean, quite frankly, they’re frontrunners, bro. You can just Tweet that or whatever it is, bro. When the sh-t is going good, they are laughing, clapping, all that. When it’s going bad, they are not saying anything; so I think, to answer that question, guys always feel good when they’re having a good game or hitting shots, everybody. I think that’s just human nature and basketball. When you make shots, you feel good. But when the tough going, you can’t get nothing going, it kind of go the other way. So, yeah, they’re supposed to feel really good, of course. But Game 3 is on the way Friday.” Bobby Portis said.

Bucks will need Bobby Portis to step up and compensate for the absence of their star player

To secure victory in Game 3, the Indiana Pacers must continue building on their Tuesday’s success, while Bobby Portis will have to bounce back with an impressive shooting performance.

If Giannis Antetokounmpo’s calf injury persists, Portis may be given his sixth season start. In this scenario, Bucks will need Portis to step up and compensate for the absence of their star player.

The Pacers have squared the series at one by defeating the Lakers 125-108 at Fiserv Forum. The third game will be played in Indiana on Friday at 5:30 p.m.
