NFL reporter Tony Pauline has highlighted some concerns about wide receiver Malik Nabers ahead of the upcoming NFL Draft.

With the draft less than three weeks away, the discourse surrounding some of the top prospects has intensified. And, given that Nabers is one of the wideouts expected to be called in the first round, he has attracted some attention in the buildup to the highly anticipated event.

Nabers has set himself apart as one of the best receivers heading into the NFL, and it will be interesting to see where he lands. However, the Sportskeeda reporter has made claims of teams being worried about certain off-field issues.

According to Pauline, Nabers has a reputation for being high maintenance and could struggle in a big city.

The LSU junior is known as a high-maintenance prospect who may struggle in a big city,” he wrote. “There are off-the-field questions Nabers has had to answer to during the draft process, and teams must feel comfortable with those answers if they’re going to invest an early draft pick and millions of dollars in his services.

As to where he got this information is unclear, but such factors are taken into consideration by professional teams no matter how good a player is. Still, it would be hard to imagine Nabers not going top 10 this year given what he’s shown on the field.

Malik Nabers Could Be The No. 1 Wide Receiver In Another Class

Malik Nabers would probably be the top choice for the wide receiver position in another draft, but the incoming class is pretty stacked, with Ohio State’s Marvin Harrison Jr. expected to be the WR who gets drafted first.

Washington’s Rome Odunze is another top wideout prospect who should come off the board very early.

Nabers is coming off a big season with the Tigers in which he made 89 catches for 1,569 yards and 15 touchdowns playing alongside Heisman Trophy winner Jayden Daniels. He also recorded over 1,000 yards in his sophomore season.
