Thursday night’s Knicks vs. 76ers game could be this week’s NBA Playoff highlight, with the 76ers desperate to force a Game 7.

Fans reckon the league has already decided that there will be a Game 7 based on the officiating crew, which was announced this morning. Scott Foster will be the chief official for Game 6, which might not be great for the Knicks.

The veteran NBA referee has been nicknamed “The Extender,” given that teams trailing in playoff series often go on to win when he’s around. Of course, we’ll have to wait and see what happens tonight, but folks on social media feel like it’s a done deal.

“Classic Scott Foster legacy game,” a Twitter/X user wrote. “He’ll either force a game 7 or revel in not giving Philly calls at home. Dude goes hard in the paint, it’ll be one or the other.”

“Adam Silver is salivating at the thought of a Game 7 at Madison Square Garden,” another wrote.

“Game 7 NBA needs it and will get it the extender will make sure,” a user commented.

Scott Foster making sure this goes to 7,” added another.

Knicks vs. 76ers Would Have Been Over if Not For Tyrese Maxey’s Heroics

The Sixers were on the brink of elimination in Game 5, trailing by six points with less than 30 seconds on the clock. Tyrese Maxey found another gear and forced overtime with a 46-point performance that ultimately got Philly a crucial win.

Fans will be hoping for another Maxey special this Thursday. But, the way some see it, they don’t have anything to worry about.
