San Antonio Spurs rookie Victor Wembanyama has often stunned the fans with his performances in his debut season. Now, once again, he has stunned the community by establishing a new record and becoming the first player to achieve it.

Although the Spurs may have had the worst season for a team in the NBA, Victor Wembanyama did not let it affect him. He had a great season and was an elite player in his debut. He is far ahead of the other rookies in the race for the Rookie of the Year award and has high expectations on his back.

Wemby recently became the first player to score more than 1500 points, make more than 250 blocks, and net more than 100 three-pointers in a single season. The fact that he achieved all this in his debut season makes it even more daunting. Wemby has proved his potential and now has a lot of expectations riding on his back; the Spurs fans believe that he will restore them to their former glory.

Victor Wembanyama shines as Spurs beat Nuggets

Victor Wembanyama shined in his recent game against the Denver Nuggets. The Spurs rookie netted 34 points, securing victory for his team and starting a race for the top seed in the Western Conference. The Nuggets needed two wins to secure the top spot in the west and gain home-court advantage in the playoffs. However, Wembanyama and the Spurs defeated them and disrupted their plans.

On the other hand, the Timberwolves, led by Anthony Edwards and OKC, secured wins, which leveled the playing field. Now, there is a three-way tie for the top seed in the Western Conference, which has never been seen before. However, the win didn’t amount to much for the Spurs, as they remain at the bottom of the standings alongside the Portland Trail Blazers.
