Buffalo Bills wide receiver Keon Coleman has easily made millions of fans in the league and he has yet to take a single snap in the NFL.
Bills second-round wide receiver Keon Coleman might have one of the best personalities we have seen from a youngster in quite some time.
The Bills selected Coleman as their first player off the board, and he is headed for the bright lights of Buffalo. However, before the athletic wide receiver can throw himself into Sean McDermott’s playbook and tear up the field at Highmark Stadium in September, Coleman had to impress the front office at the NFL combine.
During his interview with the team, Coleman was asked what he does for fun outside of football. The 20-year-old revealed in that pre-draft meeting with Bills Offensive Coordinator Joe Brady and a handful of his staff that his interests away from football included relaxing at home, bowling, and playing golf.
“I’m Tiger WishHeCould. I’m not Tiger Woods,” Keon Coleman said.
The room erupted in laughter.
“I wish I could putt and do all that. Them boys out there shooting five-under, I ain’t doing all that. It might take me five just to putt it in. But I’m gonna go have fun.”
Fans absolutely loved his answer:
Coleman is just one of many NFL players who like to play golf when they’re not on the practice field. Other well-known players who enjoy the game include Tom Brady, Aaron Rodgers, and Patrick Mahomes.
Keon Coleman Has Opportunity To Step Up Hugely After Trade of Stefon Diggs
Keon Coleman – who also attended Michigan State for two years before switching to Florida State – has a huge opportunity to do big things in 2024.
With 50 receptions for 658 yards and 11 touchdowns by the end of the 2023 season, Keon Coleman was one of Florida State’s greatest players. He spent the previous two seasons with Michigan State, where he caught 65 passes for 848 yards and eight touchdowns, via ESPN.com.
The Buffalo Bills are hoping his talents translate into the league as the team has a gaping hole at the wide receiver position after Stefon Diggs was traded to the Houston Texans this offseason.
