Kapuso Primetime King Dingdong Dantes has finally addressed the long-standing rumor alleging that he fathered a child with actress Lindsay De Vera, branding it as fake news.

Despite the persistent speculation circulating on social media, Dantes has unequivocally denied the allegations, putting an end to the ongoing gossip.

In a recent appearance on ‘Fast Talk With Boy Abunda,’ Dantes directly tackled the issue when asked by host Boy Abunda.

Abunda inquired.

To which the award-winning actor promptly responded, “Wala po. Hindi po totoo.”

Dantes elaborated on his decision to address the issue head-on, emphasizing his sense of responsibility towards his loved ones.

“Sa totoo lang, nagdadalawang-isip talaga ako kagabi kung may sasabihin ba ako about the topic and the issue, kasi alam kong baka tanungin ninyo, e,” Dantes shared.

Furthermore, Dantes expressed his bewilderment as to why the rumor linking him to De Vera persists.

“I have a responsibility sa aking pamilya to clear things like this. I love my wife, I love my family very much, my kids. That’s why I’m saying that it is not true,” he admitted.

The actor emphasized the importance of setting the record straight, especially for the sake of his family.

Kaya, yeah, once and for all, I’m clarifying na hindi siya totoo,” Dantes asserted.

Previously, Lindsay De Vera also refuted the rumors in an interview, threatening legal action against those spreading falsehoods about her and Dantes.

Dantes and De Vera previously worked together on GMA primetime series such as ‘Pari Koy’ (2015) and the two seasons of ‘Alyas Robin Hood’ in 2016 and 2017.
