During a recent appearance on Toni Gonzaga’s YouTube channel ‘Toni Talks,’ Deo Balbuena, better known as Diwata the owner of Diwata Pares Overload, shared some inspiring anecdotes from his life.

Diwata revealed to Toni that he was the only boy in his family and was intended to be his father’s namesake, leading to constant disappointment from his father due to being born female.

Despite facing numerous challenges, Diwata remained determined to pursue his dreams.

Now a social media personality, Diwata is actively involved in the entertainment industry, particularly as a part of the ‘FPJ’s Batang Quiapo’ group and participating in weekly shoots. However, despite his growing popularity, he still experiences nerves when working alongside established artists like Coco Martin and Ivana Alawi.

In a humorous twist, Diwata recounted a memorable moment during a shoot with Coco Martin, where he nearly found himself in a kissing scene.

When asked by Toni regarding his taping experience on the set of ‘FPJ’s Batang Quiapo,’ Diwata shared, “Nakakakaba nga eh. Kasi ‘di ba hindi ko naman alam ‘yung mga taping na ‘yan. Parang, sige go, kakayanin ko na lang.”

Diwata shared that Coco, perhaps sensing his nervousness, jokingly offered to kiss him to help calm his nerves.

“…Tinuruan ka ni Coco?” Toni asked.

“Yes! Mabait si Coco, tinuruan niya ako. Muntik niya na ‘kong mahalikan e,” Diwata jokingly shared.
