Actor Jake Ejercito congratulated Kathryn Bernardo on her recent achievement of winning her first FAMAS Best Actress award.

Bernardo was honored for her exceptional performance in the film ‘A Very Good Girl,’ where she co-starred with Ejercito.

In a heartfelt message on X (formerly Twitter), Ejercito praised Bernardo’s dedication and brilliance. “Was fortunate enough to have been a witness to your hard work and brilliance. Congrats, Katreng!” he posted.


 

Ejercito played the role of Charles Monteron in the film, the loyal chief-of-staff to Bernardo’s character Molly. His character is responsible for managing Molly’s schedule, security, and keeping some of her secrets.

Directed by Petersen Vargas and written by Marionne Dominique Mancol, ‘A Very Good Girl’ also had Carmi Raymundo as the creative manager and Daniel Saniana as the creative supervisor.

The film has received acclaim for its engaging storyline and the compelling performances of its cast, particularly Bernardo.
