BANGKOK, Thailand — Filipina Jessebelle Pagaduan (14-2-1, 5 KO’s) scored an eight-rounds unanimous decision win over tough warrior girl Pimchanok Thepjanda of Thailand to claim the vacant WBC ASIA Female Flyweight belt in a Highland Boxing Promotion on Thursday, June 27, at the SpacePlus Night Club in Bangkok, Kingdom of Thailand.

The Filipina 3-time world title challenger had to dig deep into her fighting experience to defeat the big-hearted Pimchanok, who gave her very best effort against her more-experienced foe.

At the end, the Thai judges gave the nod to the winning Jessebelle Pagaduan by scores of 78-74 (twice) and 77-75.

The smiling Benguet native was guided to victory by her head coach Rene Toto and teammates Allan John Alegria and Fel Morales.

With her clear win, Jessebelle not only takes home her brand new green & golden WBC ASIA Champion belt, but also improves her standing in the world rankings in the Flyweight (112 pounds) division.

It’s the weight-class where the reigning WBC Female World Champion is 27-year-old Gabriela Celeste Alaniz (15-1, 6 KO’s) of Argentina.
