On January 16, Kapamilya actress Kim Chiu recounted being blind in love.

At the media event for the teleserye version of Linlang, which LionhearTV covered, Chiu, while avoiding details, remarked that the emotionally painful experience helped her learn about life.

“Aalalahanin ko pa ba? Nakakaiyak. Of course, lahat naman ng experience, about love, about life, wala akong pinagsisihan. And that’s part of life. So, I’m thankful.”

She then noted how the heartbreaking experience helped her realize that she has other forms of love she could focus on.

“Learning in love? To never stop loving, kasi love naman comes in all forms. So, friendship. About love with your work and everything. Basta never stop loving.”

Earlier, Chiu and her former boyfriend, Xian Lim, confirmed their breakup after their 12-year relationship.

As for Linlang, the teleserye version of the drama series promises never-before-seen scenes from a critically acclaimed program.

Linlang initially streamed on Prime Video and has now returned to free TV with more ‘gigil-inducing’ moments to offer.

The Kapamilya teleserye stars Kim Chiu, Paulo Avelino, JM De Guzman, Maricel Soriano, Ruby Ruiz, and Kaila Estrada.

The series includes an ensemble cast with Jaime Fabregas, Raymond Bagatsing, Albie Casiño, Jake Ejercito, Heaven Peralejo, Adrian Lindayag, Race Matias, Benj Manalo, Lovely Abella, Frenchie Dy, Ross Pesigan, Hanna Lexie, Juno Advincula, Connie Virtucio, Lotlot Bustamante, Meann Espinosa, Danny Ramos, Bart Guingona, Marc Mcmahon, Anji Salvacion, and Kice.
