Kim Chiu has it all: fame, success, and opportunities, but Paolo Avelino said on March 9 that something is missing in her life.

In the press conference for their upcoming series, ‘What’s Wrong With Secretary Kim,’ at the  Quantum Skyview in Araneta Center, Avelino, who plays Brandon Manansala “BMC” Castillo, had to answer a difficult question: ‘What’s right with Kim?’

He answered by saying everything was right except one thing. Unfortunately, he did not elaborate further, though it might be related to the actress’s love life.

“What’s right with Kim right now? I think everything’s going well, like everything, in her career. Siguro isang aspeto lang ‘yung hindi. Pero lahat naman ng bagay is going well for her, and I think she knows it,” he said.

The actor then shared a piece of advice with her co-star: Everything will be better; “she just has to be more positive about it.”

“I think she just has to be more positive about it. I don’t see anything wrong with Kim,” explained Avelino. “She’s beautiful and has a beautiful career as well.”

Meanwhile, Chiu, who plays Secretary Kim Liwanag, divulges the similarities between her and her character. But if there is one thing that is different between them, it is that one has a love life.

“Difference namin, in love siya, hahaha. In love si Secretary Kim, si Kim steady lang, hahaha!” she joked.

It can be recalled that she and her partner of 12 years, Xian Lim, have made a mutual decision to end their relationship.

In the meantime, her series, which is based on the popular Korean drama with a similar title, will be released on March 18 in Viu.
