“SO, it’s serious (relasyon) with Herbert (Bautista), “diretsong tanong ni Karen Davila kay Ruffa Gutierrez sa panayam nito kasama ang dalawa nitong anak na sina Lorin at Venice Bektas.

Naloka si Ruffa at tanging nasabi na lang, “Grabe ka pinagpawisan ako! It’s always serious with him.”

Isa pang diretsong tanong ni Karen kay Lorin kung gusto nitong mag-asawa ang ina.

“I don’t want anything specific for her. I want her to be happy and whatever that looks for her being alone with 80 cats (nag-reak si Ruffa sa being alone at 80 cats, baka puwedeng dogs).

“If it’s getting married or a having long-time partner whatever that looks for her, I just want her to be happy.

So, I never really thought too much about. Me and my sister don’t get too overly involved,” sagot ng panganay ni Ruffa.

Si Venice naman ang tinanong ni Karen kung ano ang take nito kapag may dine-date na guy.

“Well, I’m sure me and Lorin made side comments at a start. My mom usually had a good judgment on picking who’s right for her and who’s wrong

“Her current partner now, he’s lovely, he’s a nice guy, he suits her really well, and she is ecstatic about him. Of course, I’m very happy for and again if she’s happy, we’re happy,” nakangiting pahayag ng bunso ng aktres.

Ibinuking naman ni Lorin na matigas ang ulo ng mommy nila pagdating sa lovelife nito kaya lagi silang nag-aaway ng lola Annabelle Rama nila.

Matagal nang nali-link si Ruffa kay dating Quezon City Mayor Herbert Bautista pero walang diretsong pag-amin na mag-dyowa sila, lagi lang sinasabi na special si Bistek sa aktres.

Katwiran kasi ni Ruffa, “I think now it’s just better that, a quiet personal life leads to more happiness. I’ll never go into a relationship that’s not serious. I’m always the serious type,”

Sagot kaagad ni Lorin, “get married abroad so you can get a divorce!”

Pero humirit ang dalaga na gusto niyang maging bridesmaid pag ikinasal ang nanay niya at nabanggit pa na dapat magkaroon din ng pre-nuptial agreement bilang proteksyon at hindi lang sa nanay niya kundi in general lalo na sa mga kababaihan.

Sa comedy series na The House Arrest of US nina Daniel Padilla at Kathryn Bernardo nagka-developan sina Ruffa at Herbert kung saan gumanap sila bilang magulang ni Kat.

Sa first date nina Ruffa at HB ay pinasama ng huli ang mga anak ng una para raw magkakilanlan sila.

“They were included on our first date. Very proper. Sinundo kami sa bahay tapos sinama ‘yung mga anak ko, sabi: ‘I wanna meet them and to make sure that they’re okay with him and everyone is comfortable’ and that was Christmas time,” pag-amin ng mommy nina Lorin at Venice.

Say ni Venice, “honestly, just seeing our mom with him. She was just so happy.”

Sabir in ni Lorin, “I do think that the tell-tale sign that this is real and this is a really strong connection is that he helped her get back into school and really encouraged that for her.”

Isa pang dahilan kaya nagustuhan din ng mga anak ni Ruffa si Herbert ay dahil in-encourage nito ang mommy nilang tapusin ang college at ngayon ay kumukuha ng masters sa Communication Arts at malapit nang magtapos.
