Speculation about the relationship status of Fumiya Sankai and Kate Valdez has been reignited after the pair enjoyed a trip together to Hong Kong Disneyland. Although neither has publicly addressed their relationship, their recent getaway has captured the attention of fans and netizens alike.

During their visit to the world-famous theme park, the duo was seen purchasing souvenirs, indulging in local delicacies, and attending a Little Mermaid show. Valdez shared highlights of the trip on her Instagram account on Sunday, August 25, expressing her joy over the experience.

The visit to Hong Kong was also in celebration of Valdez’s 24th birthday, which she marked on August 21. In her post, Valdez thanked Sankai for making her birthday special, saying, “Thank you for making my birthday so magical and for making the kid in me feel so happy @fumi.japan. Also thank you for your wishes and birthday greetings.”

The actress received an outpouring of well-wishes from fellow celebrities, including Glaiza de Castro, Rodjun Cruz, Maricar de Mesa, and Jason Abalos, as well as internet personality Benedict Cua.

Sankai also shared moments from their trip on his Instagram, noting that Valdez made his first visit to Hong Kong particularly enjoyable. “My first trip to Hong Kong was a lot of fun. Happy Birthday,” he captioned his post.

Fumiya Sankai first gained public attention through his YouTube channel, FumiShun Base, which he launched in 2015. He later became a household name after joining ‘Pinoy Big Brother: Otso’ in 2018, where he finished as the fifth big placer.

Kate Valdez is known for her roles in popular dramas such as ‘Destiny Rose,’ ‘Onanay,’ and ‘Unica Hija.’ She is set to star in the upcoming projects ‘Shining Inheritance’ and ‘Encantadia Chronicles: Sang’gre.’
