Minh Phuo, also known as Emma from Vietnam, has addressed and dismissed rumors romantically linking her to Filipino actor Daniel Padilla.

In an extensive Instagram post, Phuo clarified the nature of her interaction with Padilla during his visit to her brother’s bar in Vietnam.

Setting the record straight, Phuo stated that she had never met Daniel before his visit to Vietnam. She explained that her brother, who owns the bar, informed her about Daniel’s presence, suggesting she greet the famous actor.

“Since last year, I have received a lot of messages from fans and supporters of Daniel Padilla, a famous actor in the Philippines. It is known that Daniel visited Vietnam last year with his friends. Prior to his visit in my country, I have never met him.”

Phuo recounted a brief encounter where they exchanged a few words, emphasizing that it was the extent of their interaction.

“My brother owns the bar that Daniel went to. My brother told me that Daniel is there and I can say hi to him because I know he is a famous actor. I saw Daniel and his friends in the bar, exchanged a few words, and then I went back home with my sister. That is the end of my interaction with him.”

Expressing concern over the spread of misinformation, Phuo urged the public to practice civility and politeness. She highlighted the disturbing nature of threats to her life and job, along with messages and spam sent to her family and friends.

Addressing the fans, Phuo acknowledged their love and appreciation for their idols but emphasized the importance of maintaining a dignified and respectful approach. She identified herself as a common Vietnamese citizen leading a normal life and requested that social media interactions be conducted with thoughtfulness.

It’s worth noting that Daniel Padilla and his long-time girlfriend Kathryn Bernardo publicly announced their split on social media last year.
