They’re unbelievably comfy to wear all day long, which had her forgetting about her collection of wedges and heels in favor of cool new kicks. Kim Chiu’s Favorite Pairs of Sneakers

1. Alexander McQueen Oversized sneakers

Kim has about 15 pairs of this chunky-soled sneaker! She says she got into collecting them because of the design’s simplicity and its colored back detail that she can match with her outfits for easy color coordination.

2. Naked Wolfe platform sneakers

Wearing platform sneakers gives Kim an instant height boost, and for that she turns to Naked Wolfe’s chunky pairs.

How Kim Chiu Keeps Her Sneakers Clean

Fully aware that white sneakers can be a little hard to maintain, Kim gives extra TLC to her precious pairs. She has three easy tips to keep your kicks in pristine white condition:

1. Store your shoes in a cool place.

Hot temperatures can make your shoes break, especially if they’re made of leather. To prevent this, place dehumidifiers in the room or do as Kim does—place vases of water in all corners of the room. Be sure to replace the water often!
 

2. Take your kicks to a shoe spa.

They need some deep cleansing, too! Doing so will keep your pairs in tip top shape. Kim’s go-to place is Repent MNL.

3. Stock up on shoe cleaners.

For easy spot cleaning and maintenance, Kim says you need to have shoe cleaners at the ready at all times. She loves Aldo‘s gel cleaner and Sneaker Cleaner, which she got from Foot Locker in New York.
