Former Buffalo Bills wide receiver Stefon Diggs was traded on April 3rd, 2024 to the Houston Texans along with a 6th-round pick in the 2024 NFL Draft and a 5th in 2025, in exchange for a 2nd-round pick in 2025.
After playing four seasons in Buffalo, where Diggs hit at least 1,100 yards and never scored less than 8 touchdowns, it’s not clear why he only fetched a 2nd-round pick. Many have started to speculate why Diggs may have been traded, as he had been seen engaging in arguments with Bills star signal caller Josh Allen on the sidelines during the past few seasons.
Their most notable gaff came during the Bills’ 27-10 loss to the Bengals in the 2023 AFC Championship, where Diggs was seen seemingly screaming at Allen, claiming he was open and wanted the ball.
Josh Allen Appears To Cuss Out Stefon Diggs To Bills Fan
Popular Bills fan WyattzWorld posted a screenshot of a text he got after asking the Bills QB about the status of his Pro Bowl receiver. Allen was not very happy and it seems things have now boiled over to the front office, who want to keep their star signal caller happy.
While there is no report that this is 100% a real text that the influencer received from the Bills QB, it’s unfortunately not that farfetched due to the history between the two NFL superstars.
With the Texans acquiring Diggs to pair with CJ Stoud and Joe Mixon, it seems as though they are going to be one of the most unstoppable teams in the league. The Bills, on the other hand, may be heading in a rebuilding direction. And while Allen may be happy in the short term, not having a star receiver may be a career-hindering issue for the perennial MVP candidate.
