Austin Reaves Was Left Stunned by LeBron James’ Recent Performance Against the Pelicans

The Los Angeles Lakers faced the New Orleans Pelicans as their final opponents for the regular season. The Purple and Gold were able to secure a blowout victory, and Austin Reaves was left stunned by the performance of a certain teammate.

Of course, it was none other than LeBron James who delivered an exceptional performance against the Pelicans, and this time, he showcased his supporting skillset. LeBron dished out an impressive 13 assists in the first half, surprising Reaves, who didn’t see it coming at all.

Later on, Austin Reaves expressed his thoughts in a post-game interview. “I looked up with like seven minutes remaining in the second quarter and he had eleven assists. I was just like ‘What the heck? What the hell is going on?‘ They probably got a typo up here but nah, it was just early. He was making plays and obviously, late in the game, he took over,” said Reaves.

The rising Lakers star revealed he was surprised when he saw LeBron with eleven assists under his name in the second quarter. King James has been in great form recently, and this latest feat shows that the future Hall of Famer can also be a great provider when the team needs it.

Austin Reaves helps his team secure victory against the Pelicans

The game against the New Orleans Pelicans was crucial for Austin Reaves and the Lakers, as winning it would have secured them the eighth seed in the Western Conference standings.

The Lakers realized the importance of the situation, and everyone gave their best. As a result, they manhandled the Pelicans, securing a blowout victory with a final score of 124-108.

Austin Reaves scored 20 points to help his team get the Dub. Meanwhile, LeBron James and Anthony Davis were the real heroes of the game. AD had a 30-point game and collected 11 rebounds, while King James scored 28 points, collected 11 rebounds, and dished out 17 assists.

With this win, the Lakers have ended their regular season. They will again face the New Orleans Pelicans as their first opponent in the Play-In tournament.
