Not everybody is sad about OJ Simpson’s death, and that includes former friend Caitlyn Jenner.

Caitlyn Jenner shared her thoughts on the death of OJ Simpson, and she did not hold back or mince any words.

“Good Riddance #OJSimpson,” Jenner wrote via X shortly after news of Simpson’s death broke.

Though most celebrities are treated with praise and remembrance from fans upon their passing, that was not necessarily the case for Simpson, as some openly mocked him due to the many controversies he went through while still walking the Earth.

The former NFL player and actor, who was accused and later acquitted of double murder, died on Wednesday at the age of 76 following a battle with cancer, which was first revealed in February.

Jenner, the former Olympian, has been a harsh critic of Simpson for years and even claimed that the former Buffalo Bill was responsible for the death of his wife, Nicole Brown, and her friend, Ron Goldman, despite him being found not guilty in that infamous 1995 trial.

Back in 2017, in a memoir, Jenner called Simpson “the most narcissistic, egocentric, neediest a– in the world of sports I had ever seen,” according to the Washington Post.

Jenner and Simpson were once good friends, as pointed out by an X user who posted a picture of them together in response to his scathing post.

Caitlyn Jenner was once friends with OJ Simpson but that all changed when the former Buffalo Bills running back was famously acquitted of the murders of his ex-wife Nicole Brown Simpson and her friend Ron Goldman in 1994.

Robert Kardashian, the father of Kourtney, Kim, Khloé, and Rob, was also friends with Simpson. Caitlyn admitted things were tense between the family during this time period.
“I remember the day the verdict came through and [Kourtney, Kim, and Khloé] came in and they said, ‘I told you he didn’t do it,’” Caitlyn said during an interview with Dr. Phil in 2009, via OKMagazine. “We sat down and I said, ‘Look, just because he got a not guilty verdict doesn’t mean he didn’t do it, and I just don’t want to hear his name anymore.’ And I had a lot of conversations with Robert to try to make sure it didn’t tear the family apart.”
