APRIL 19 San Antonio Spurs rookie sensation Victor Wembanyama is suggesting that there are players around the NBA who are reached out to him with private messages.
And why? Pretty much because they are expressing an interest in signing with the San Antonio Spurs.

Wemby was asked by Kevin O’Connor of The Ringer about a loosely-related subject … just about the attention he’s drawn.
Replied the prized rookie: “Yeah, I’ve received some messages. Even from prospects. But I try to sustain my role. It’s a whole new world that I’m eager to discover. For sure, one day or the other, I’ll have to be involved in this, I guess, even though I’m staying in my role as a player.”
In other words … yes, the 7-4 Wemby – who ended up averaging 21.4 points, 10.6 rebounds, 3.9 assists and a league-best 3.6 blocks per game – is preparing to be a chief recruiter in San Antonio.
