Shedeur Sanders is no longer the favorite to go No. 1 overall in the 2025 NFL Draft.

With the 2024 draft having come and gone, bookmakers are now offering odds for the next one.

The Colorado Buffaloes quarterback led the pack for a while, but he has been usurped by Georgia’s Carson Beck, who is now +300, with Shedeur +450 at FanDuel (via Yahoo Sports).

Of course, there’s plenty of time for that to change, but the Bulldogs signal-caller is the man at the moment and has a lot of hype behind him heading into 2024. Beck replaced Stetson Bennett as the starting QB for UGA last season, finishing the campaign with 3,941 yards, 24 touchdowns, and six interceptions.

Sanders, who is heading into his second season with the Buffs, had a great term on a personal front. He passed for 3,230 yards, 27 touchdowns, and just three interceptions. Unfortunately, CU went 4-8 following their hot 3-0 start, while their QB was the most sacked in college.

Both Sanders and Beck are expected to put on improved campaigns in 2024, so the race will be an interesting one.

Shedeur Sanders Lost His Top Spot Because Of A Tweet?

Shedeur Sanders is believed to have lost his top spots on the favorites ladder because of a certain tweet.

The quarterback belittled a former CU safety by saying he didn’t remember him after the player criticized his father, Deion Sanders, over the way he was let go from the program. Shedeur responded by claiming he must have been average as he didn’t even remember him.

His odds of going No. 1 overall fell from +100 to +300 shortly after.
