Many mock drafts have stated that the Arizona Cardinals will be that one team to trade out of the top 5 and it appears where there is smoke, there may truly be a fire.
We learned last year that Arizona Cardinals general manager Monti Ossenfort was not afraid to make draft-day deals, even in the first round.
The team is currently number 4 in the 2024 NFL Draft and although the team does not need a quarterback, they could take the next available offensive talent such as Ohio State Buckeyes wide receiver Marvin Harrison Jr.
However, a new rumor says the Arizona Cardinals are not only looking to trade down, they are looking for a substantial package to make it happen.
Fox News Senior NFL Writer Armando Salguero is reporting that the Arizona Cardinals are seeking three first-round picks from any team that is looking to take the No. 4 pick off their hands.
Unlike many of the NFL teams slated to pick early in the 2024 draft, the Arizona Cardinals are not involved in this year’s rookie quarterback sweepstakes so that makes their pick so much more valuable and the extra draft capital from a trade could set them up for years to come.
Basically, the team could keep the pick and take big-name pass catchers like Marvin Harrison Jr. or they can take advantage of a QB-starved team and collect additional picks. Either way, they’ve got clear holes to address on both sides of the ball.

After a relatively quiet free agency period, the Cardinals have a chance to come away as a huge winner in the draft but it all depends on their next decision.
Sticking with their No. 4 pick gets them a top offensive player should they choose to go that route which would give Kyler Murray a weapon. If they trade it, they could address both sides of the ball and get several good players that could have them contending real soon.
