The Chicago Bears have just 4 picks in this year’s NFL Draft, two of which are in the first round. Sources say that one of these picks may be on the market as they may be looking to cooperate with draft picks later in the draft.

There have reportedly been teams that are interested in acquiring Chicago’s 9th overall pick and the team is rumored to be engaging in trade talks with these teams as they may want to add more than just four 4 players.

The Bears are going to be taking USC QB Caleb Williams with their first overall pick as reported by essentially every analyst, and it was practically confirmed after the trading of QB Justin Fields to Pittsburgh earlier this off-season.

According to a post on X by NFL Notifications, Chicago apparently has a prospect they wish to draft with the 9th overall pick, however, if the aforementioned prospect has already been selected, the 9th overall pick may just end up belonging to another NFL team

Who Will The Chicago Bears Take After Caleb Williams?

With ESPN having offensive tackle Troy Fautanu, out of Washington at the spot, it’s possible that the Bears may be looking to draft the lineman with the pick. The only issue is with the New York Giants and Tennessee Titans each holding picks at 6 and 7 respectively, Fautanu may be taken off the board.

Not only that, the Bears may even look to add defensive depth to the roster by drafting Alabama linebacker Dallas Turner at the spot. Turner is ranked as the 7th guy in the class by ESPN, so it is not guaranteed.

Whether the trade happens or not, were just going to have to wait till the draft later this April to find out what the Bears do with the 9th overall pick after they inevitably take Caleb Williams with the top selection.
