The Washington Commanders have their eyes on several incoming star college quarterbacks, and that recently led them to an interesting decision this week.

Senior NFL Reporter Albert Breer revealed that the Washington Commanders will be hosting LSU Tigers quarterback Jayden Daniels, North Carolina Tar Heels quarterback Drake Maye, Michigan Wolverines quarterback JJ McCarthy, and Washington Huskies quarterback Michael Penix all at the same time, which will be either today or on Tuesday.

Breer added that quarterbacks are part of a much larger group of prospects coming in.

The Washington Commanders hold the No. 2 overall pick in the draft, and many believe that the franchise will take a quarterback, most notably LSU’s Jayden Daniels. The Heisman trophy winner threw for 3,812 yards, 40 touchdowns, and just four interceptions while completing 72.2 percent of his passes in 12 games played.

He would further add to his ability to turn the Washington Commanders around as he rushed the ball 135 times for 1,134 yards and ten touchdowns while averaging an eye-watering 8.4 yards a carry.

He is already familiar with the team as he met with the Washington Commanders, New England Patriots, New York Giants, Minnesota Vikings, Denver Broncos, and Las Vegas Raiders after his Pro day, according to NFL Network.

Caleb Williams is the consensus No. 1 overall pick and will be selected by the Chicago Bears.

A new era in the Washington Commanders’ history has begun after former Dallas Cowboys defensive coordinator Dan Quinn was named the head coach. His first big decision is a crucial one, and that is selecting the right quarterback in the 2024 NFL Draft.

If he fails to deliver and a QB selected behind them turns into a star, his career with the team will end quickly.
